What to expect
We understand that your journey as a rider is as unique as your horse, and our mission is to empower you with the knowledge and experience you need to excel in the world of show jumping.
Here's what you can expect from our education:
With our program, you are given new lessons twice a week. These lessons come in the form of video demonstrations where you'll witness our horses in action. Our lessons are known for their authenticity – they're often "uncut and raw," allowing you to see the real challenges that arise in horse training. We believe that understanding how to handle unexpected situations is as important as learning the planned exercises.
In our lessons, every horse you see is actively undergoing training. This gives you a unique opportunity to witness the genuine education. It's not just about the successes; it's about the journey and the process. You'll see how we adapt to individual horses' needs, while respecting their different personalities.
Foundation Work: Building a Strong Base for Jumping
In the early stages of our course, we prioritize laying a solid foundation. This phase is dedicated to exercises with poles and cavalettis. We recognize the importance of a strong and balanced canter as the cornerstone for jumping. Through a series of exercises, riders and their horses develop a powerful and connected canter, setting the stage for the challenges ahead.
Grid Work: Strengthening Technique, Balance, and Impulsion
In the grid work segment of our course, we work with variety of grid exercises designed to enhance your horse's overall athleticism and performance. Grids are an invaluable tool for strengthening technique, improving balance, and boosting impulsion.
Jumping Exercises: Enhancing Adjustability and Confidence
You'll apply all the components you are learning throughout the course. This includes working on combinations, related distances, and perfecting your horse's adjustability – a critical aspect for success in the show ring.
Our course is a living entity that grows and improves with time. You'll have access to all the fresh updates, lessons, and enhancements we introduce. We firmly believe that learning is an ongoing process, and your education with us reflects that philosophy.
Our philosophy
At Master Show Jumping, our philosophy is rooted in the belief that training should be a partnership built on trust, respect, and understanding between horse and rider.
Communication is the cornerstone of successful show jumping, and we emphasize its importance. Our training methods focus on strengthening the communication between horse and rider, often with minimal reliance on tack. By nurturing a clear and intuitive dialogue, we enable our students and their equine partners to perform at their best.
Horses thrive when they are allowed to express their natural behaviors. At our facility, we prioritize ample turnout and time outdoors. Horses benefit from being horses – grazing, socializing, and exploring. This freedom fosters physical and mental well-being, making for happier, more balanced athletes in the arena. We encourage our students to turnout their horses as much as possible but we understand that is not possible at every yard.
We believe that by treating our equine partners with the care and dignity they deserve, we not only produce successful show jumpers but also promote a deeper understanding and appreciation for these magnificent animals.
Join us in this journey of effective communication, and harmonious horsemanship while reaching towards your goals in the arena.

I absolutely love your set up in terms of exercises with videos and then exact measurements for set up of poles etc. I also love that you don’t have a horse that can do the exercises with a blindfold on. You have a young horse that doesn’t always get it right first time so I don’t worry about getting it right first or fifth time but that it will come with practise.
I have a schoolmaster who can probably do it all but I’m not a naturally talented rider. I just want to be able to enjoy schooling and follow a plan that will help me achieve my goals. I want to be a better rider for myself and for my horse.
I also have a daughter and a young pony so I feel that these exercises will also be good for them and help them develop as a team.

I feel like the lessons, even the very beginning ones, have given me more structure in my riding, whether with Bella or other horses. I can also go back steps if I feel we have struggled some on the more advanced lessons. Bella is a very game 4 year old, but can get too confident I think, so being green she doesn’t make the best decisions all the time. Having the lessons built in stages has really helped gain more focus from her. They also keep me more aware. I have been telling friends how happy I’ve been since signing up for the program. I see my friends struggling and I suggest they go to your page. I wish I had started this with my last jumper who is now pregnant. I know I could have gotten her much more broke and could have moved up more. Even though some might think the lessons look simple, they are not. They aren’t hard on the horses’ legs, but the focus on balance, suppleness and paying attention, even with poles or figure 8s, it is a lot of discipline from horse and rider, and for me I love that.
